The San Antonio Spurs go into the City of Brotherly Love to face the Philadelphia 76er’s. The last time the Spurs met the Sixers, it was at home and the Spurs took a 109-86 pounding.
The Spurs are coming off a victory over the Atlanta Hawks in which PG Tony Parker scored 23 points to go along with 12 assists bringing praise from Head Coach Gregg Popovich.
“He’s really fun to watch at both ends of the court,” Popovich said. “And he’s been doing that all year.”
Expect Tim Duncan to rejoin the squad after Popovich gave him the day off against the Hawks but SG Manu Ginobili is still out with a sore hamstring. Ginobili has been averaging 12.9 ppg and 4.6 assists per game.
