Spurs fall to Grizzlies after three overtimes

The Memphis Grizzlies had just ended a 16-game winning streak for the Golden State Warriors and came into San Antonio last night taking the Spurs into three overtimes before prevailing over the defending champs, 116-117.

There is no rest in sight for the defending champion Spurs as they face the Portland Trailblazers  in a rematch of an earlier game this week.  In the Blazers 108-95 win, they also lost center Robin Lopez, a key component of their offense.  Now the Spurs will be plenty tired and we should see a lot of the bench tonight.

“Regardless who’s on the floor, we gotta bring it,” Green said. “We gotta continue to win games. We put ourselves in a little hole here. We know what it takes. We trust one through 15 to get it done, and guys have to step up
