Spurs dump Nets

Every Spurs fan knew that it was only a matter of time before the Spurs began flowing like they did en-route to winning their 5th championship but it has not been such a smooth transition what with injuries and father time still working its magic.  But the Spurs showed they are coming together quite nicely in a 87-99 win over the Brooklyn Nets Saturday night.  Tim Duncan nearly had a double-double and Tony Parker played lights out, scoring 22 points-shooting over 50% while dishing out seven assists.

“Tonight I thought our focus was really good,” Parker said. “It’s not easy to get back to the level that we were at last year in the Finals, but we’ll try hard. We’ve got a long time before the playoffs start.”

The Spurs have two home games coming up. Wednesday against the Pacers and Friday against the Kings.  Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to get yours today!
