Spurs take out winless Wizards

In an all around effort, the Spurs beat the Washington Wizards 118-92 Monday night. The Spurs had seven players post double figures; Diaw had 16 points, Splitter 15 and 12 boards, Parker 15 points, Duncan 14 points, Neal 13 points, Ginobili 12 and Bonner 11 points.

”They carved us up pretty good tonight,” Wizards coach Randy Wittman said.

”We knew we were going to play a lot of guys and kind of keep our minutes down especially after the tough one last night. We came in here and we gave them (the bench) a little lead and guys stepped up and started making shots and we extended that lead. And it’s just great to sit there in the fourth quarter, especially after the game we had last night,” PF Tim Duncan said.

The Spurs next face the Orlando Magic (5-8) on Wednesday November 28th.
