Richard Jefferson’s swollen right knee improved sufficiently for him to rejoin the Golden State lineup two days after the Spurs left town.
Jefferson played in the game after the Spurs’ victory over Golden State, producing seven points, two rebounds and an assist in a little less than 20 minutes of game action against the Lakers. His presence wasn’t enough as the Warriors dropped a 99-87 decision to the Pacific Division leaders to extend their six-game losing streak.
The former Spur was involved in aduring the game where his left elbow was firmly planted in Pau Gasol’s face while scrambling for a rebound.
Just a thought here. But if Jefferson had more of those kinds of moments when he was with the Spurs, he might still be playing with them today.
What about it Spurs Nation? After a month, are you still happy with the trade of Richard Jefferson for Stephen Jackson?
And would you change it if you could?
I’m curious about your thoughts.
