Spurs rematch with Rockets this Saturday

After securing their 19th straight home victory with a 112-79 beat down of the Phoenix Suns last night, the Spurs will set their sites back onto the Houston Rockets who took a 88-84 victory from the Spurs last Friday.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the Spurs against the Suns with 21 points and 12 rebounds; his 10th double double of the year.  Manu Ginobili, who came off the bench for five points and three assists and three steals in 17 minutes, put the game and the streak into perspective.

“Yeah for sure (the winning streak is impressive),” Spurs guard Manu Ginobili said. “It’s not that we care about the record, but we know we’ve been very successful (at home) and we haven’t given away any games at home. On the road, we gave away a couple, but the most important thing with that kind of record is that we have feeling that we can do so many things better. That’s a great situation because we know we can improve a lot.”

The Spurs host the Houston Rockets and hope to take one back from them and even out the season series.  Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to get yours today and help cheer on your San Antonio Spurs to their 20th Home Victory!
