Despite racing to the league’s best record and the best mark in franchise history to this point of the season, ESPN.com’s Chris Broussard isn’t impressed with the Spurs.
While appearing with Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic Friday morning, Broussard predicted the Spurs as his.
“I’m not saying I’ve got the Lakers as a heavy favorite, but they are my favorite,” Broussard said. “Then comes Dallas and San Antonio.”
The Spurs have beaten the Lakers and the Mavericks in two of three games this season. But it appears it still hasn’t registered on a national scale to some of the top media members in the country.
For the record, Broussard had Boston as his top selection in the East, trailed by Miami and Chicago.
