Spurs bounce back for win against Milwaukee

After an ego-deflating loss to the New York Knicks, the San Antonio Spurs bounced back against the Milwaukee Bucks with an 11 point win, 114-103.  It was a huge win considering the Spurs lost to one of the worst teams in the league in the Knicks.  Games like the Knicks contest defy odds but add gravitas to the statement “that’s why they play the game.”

“I gave up a long time ago trying to understand the game of basketball,” Tony Parker said after the game. “It is weird. We just did a better job tonight of shooting the ball and playing the game better.”

The Spurs face Eastern Conference cellar dwellers The Boston Celtics.  They should have no trouble against the lowly Celts, but, hey, that’s why they play the games!  Get your tickets today!
